Corporate Salad Bar

Offsetting my nutritious breakfast (see Sausage McMuffin with Hash) and to continue with today's theme, Eating Healthy, established by Phil #14, I decided to build my own salad at the corporate cafeteria. My salad tipped the scales at 1.2 lbs and cost me $9.64 which I feel is kind of absurd. The salad included: romaine lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, cucumbers, hard boiled egg whites, peas, jalapenos, crumbled bleu cheese, grilled chicken, those mini orange slices, and balsamic vinaigrette. This wasn't the best salad that I have ever eaten or made, but it did it's job. It filled me up for the time being, and if I get hungry later on I can eat a Granny Smith Apple left over from Friday.
