First and hopefully not the last post.
I call today's lunch, The "S.O.S" or strength of slaw. It is a great sandwich that I made for lunch. It is comprised of Smoked Turkey, Pastrami, Spicy Brown Mustard, and coleslaw on seeded rye bread (Beefsteak). I will admit the cole slaw was a late addition. I was down at the cafeteria to get some soup to go along with the sandwich, but realized how aweful the soup selection was. There was some slaw in the salad bar and figured that would add a nice touch to the sandwich. Joe Scalo doubts that this sandwich was any good. Due to his disrespect of it, I decided to make it the first post. Enjoy.

oh wow, that looks wonderful
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest, I was quite skeptical about the use of slaw on sandwiches for the better part of my life. However, in the past 3 or 4 years, I have come to realize how great of an addition it can be to a sandwich. In fact, arguably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life had slaw on it, called "the gasm" at the se-port deli in long island.
